But here you go. An update.
What's new in the world of Pete?
Well on Monday I got to watch Finding Nemo in my Comedy and Culture as you already know. Hence the Facebook status...
"You know your degree will be worth it when you watch and analyse Finding Nemo"
That was what was on my mind.
The Comedy choice seems like a positive one. Each week we study different aspects of laughter. This week we're reading about the Carnival. So trained animals, giants, midgets and bearded ladies.
In the upcoming weeks we get to cover our favourite comedy film, favourite rom-com, favourite sitcom, favourite stand up comedian and also look into silent films.
Monday night I popped into town...as I seem to do alot.
Remedies (the infamous Monday club) was playing pretty decent music for once...however I was compelled to leave when I heard the DJ say...
"Alright Falmouth who's ready for some DUBSTEP?!"
Immediate disinterest from me.
The late night on Monday kept me delightfully toasty in bed until midday. This meant I might have missed a lecture...bad Pete.
However, I did go to my afternoon lecture which was all about Literature and it's connections with law.
Finally something of decent interest.
In conjunction will Daniel Defoe's Moll Flanders (blah blah blah English things) we've been set an epic task of writing about an Old Bailey trial from the 18th Century.
For those who are oblivious to anything outside of the 21st Century...
Basically it's court trials usually ending in branding, burning, limb removal or death.
I've probably bored you to tears filling you in about my last couple of days but if you can grin and bear it...
Check out the last few purchases Oli has got his hands on.
Plus stay tuned for an epic surprise on his website too...
That's it for now.
