Yes I've got it.
As hard as I tried to avoid it (not very) I have caught what is commonly know as the "Fresher's Flu."
A lack of vitamin C, alot of alcohol and probably going out into town Thursday night in shorts, t-shirt and flip flops have all combined to give me a bunged up nose, sore eyes and a chesty cough.
Bollocks.
As a result I missed my Friday seminar as well as my Friday night 5 aside...which saw our first defeat ever at the hands of the 3 times champions "Take A Bow Son"...4 goals to 1.
As you can tell, I really am sick...
Anywho, consequently (nice word) I haven't really done a huge amount of interesting things in the past few days. However, I have picked out a couple of gems to share.
The first relates to Thursday night's partying. It was beach themed...hence the shorts and t-shirt. But, for the first time ever...in my experience anyway, we had to queue to get into Club I.
It may not seem a shock to those who don't have any idea what I'm blabbering on about but to me, I have never been so outraged.
Anyway, this wasn't the news. The news was that, even though the drink is common knowledge, I had a Refresher for the first time.
For those who don't know what it is:
Blue VHF/WKD
Yellow (Lemon) VHF/WKD
Simple. And! Does actually taste like a Refresher the sweet...smiley face for the first time ever! :)
Now, just a quick nerdy side note to anyone who is interested. Medal of Honor came out on Friday and a certain house mate has certain ways of obtaining certain things in a certain style.
Not stealing from a shop.
So, as he/she studied like a good boy/girl I played as best as I could and completed the story in about 3 hours. All in all, not bad. Graphics are good, cutscenes are awesome, storyline is good. Yet, for those who like CoD Modern Warfare 2 it'll all seem very samey to you...
3 things for you to feast your beautiful eyes on. Aren't I nice eh?
Oli's most recent purchases. Always a must see.
MrRaffle's new video...there's going to be changes...
Another blogger...one I don't know but is very popular on the old Tube.
